Core team for Less.js.
Passionate about fixing process problems. I really enjoy deconstructing big problems into small patterns, so that I can fix them and put everything back together.
I am the founder and CEO of Sellside, a company focused on decreasing the distance between any two points in the supply chain.

Release duplicate versions of SAAS product? can you clarify this question? are you thinking about offering two products that differ ONLY in name and appearance, but function in exactly the same way for the same target customers/market? |

Startup equity share among co-founders: What is the fair thing to do There are many other virtually identical questions here, you might want to spend some time looking through those answers first, then repost with something more specific or based on what you learn from the other posts. |

Overwhelmed by Technical Supports Great answer, @Gary E is right on the money. What he's getting at is scalability. If you need to hire technical support reps linearly with customer growth you won't be able to scale. So look for ways to automate customer service, and that includes recording your feedback to every customer in the form of a "knowledgebase" that is used for customer self-service going forward. |

What criteria do you use to judge the viability of a startup? It's been a while since I visited, so my reply is awfully late, but thank you for the kind words, @limist! |

How do you determine how much to raise for seed funding? Completely agree with virtually every point. Great advice. |

What is a typical fee for an introduction to angel / seed funding? VCs and experienced angel investors generally have a strong aversion to working with folks like that, and only make exceptions in rare circumstances. Unless you are in one of those rare exceptions, I have to agree with @Tim's statement. Walk away. |

VCs and vertical markets Vertical markets have nothing to do with acquisitions. Direct quote from wikipedia: "a vertical...is a group of similar businesses and customers that engage in trade based on specific and specialized needs." |

VCs and vertical markets most of those are products, not vertical markets. |
