Off Shore vs “Self Development” @BhargavPatel: Offshoring and coding it yourself are not the only two options. Working with someone more local very likely will give him a greater degree of control and confidence in what's being done. |

Off Shore vs “Self Development” +1; this is the single biggest risk with offshore development. While all development obviously needs real specs, the risk is amplified in offshore scenarios. |

Furious client does not want to pay @Net: There's a difference between what's legal and what's advisable or professional. Just because it's legal doesn't mean that it isn't petulant behavior; if I saw something that online, I can't imagine that I'd do business with the company posting it. |

Furious client does not want to pay @Louis: This isn't eBay or Amazon; posting information like that, especially for a relatively minor issue, would be (at the very least) unprofessional. |

Furious client does not want to pay If the US is crappy because it's difficult to harass someone for a small sum of money by attaching arbitrary fees, then I'm OK with that. The other answers here are right; move on, and certainly don't say things like "due to financial disagreements..." in public. There's no excuse for that sort of unprofessionalism. |
