How do I advertise the products in my rental business? I'm unsure what the question is, nor do I really understand the business? Do you rent TVs etc? Is it primarily offline or online business? Are you talking about advertising on the products themselves? |

US patent infringement by UK business? This is not a good place to get that sort of legal advice, I would recommend if you are in any doubt contact a lawyer, your local chamber of commerce or the remnants of business link will be able to offer advice and access to a legal firm who may well offer free advice. |

What is the title of someone that produces website content from technical documents? Really think odesk and Elance are places of last resort, while their are plenty of very talented people on such sites finding them in such crowded marketplace is hard and its easy to get burned. |

Previous examples of failed diversification Still a lot of questions and very broad. You could try soliciting responses with something online the line of "What are the benefits or disadvantages of diversification from your core product for a startup" But you need to avoid asking for recommendations or even specific examples (though no doubt people will respond with such) |

Writing a plan for business promotion/marketing When you say promotion do you mean, promoting a product, promoting people within your company or you yourself getting a promotion? |

Online Advertising for Startup Website Unless the criteria has radically changed from Google Adsense recently I have never come across any mention of Adsense team manually reviewing accounts prior to launch, requiring certain amount of content etc. They have strict guidelines on placement of ads and number of units and a team which monitors usage but was not aware they now have a manual approval process. Do you have a link to where this process is documented? |

Making Account Creation Compulsory? Also the less data you are handling generally the less things can go wrong, less issues you will have. So even if you don't limit the usage |

Starting local (non-English) news portal, where to get free content? Paid content at reasonable price? If you do not intend to edit or rewrite stories you will find it difficult to make much of a authority or be considered a news site and not a scraper. While it may be possible to strike deals to syndicate other content most sites will see no benefit in such a deal as it will mean rewriting their own content or suffer duplicate content issues in search engines. I think you may need to have to adapt your business model to at least partially running your own content and gain some authority before looking at syndication rights. |
