Running an aggressive promotion against a competing product I can't believe someone downvoted this. I'd really like to know what they have to contribute to this topic/answer. |

Is a startup a full-time job? Yes, it can. There are other questions here about growing a startup with another job, perhaps this is a duplicate question. People have proved it can be done: this is an example and you can find others around. |

What to use to collect emails on a startup launch page? What's the problem with future sign-ups? Won't users be able to create an account on your SaaS directly on its website? |

Good startups resources on Europe? Indeed. You should also see his talk at BOS 2010. Very, very good for first-time entrepreneurs imho. |

putting new and not cheap product on global market No problem. :) What I mean is: sometimes you'll find someone who you really wish would adopt your product. Best thing may be to send your sales pitch to the sales team there, and then send him/her an email saying: "Hey, I sent a sales pitch about my product to your team, but I was hoping you could give me some feedback (which I'd really appreciate) on how it may or may be not useful to your company given your experience with X, Y and Z." |
