How informal is too informal for a startup job posting @Activist no need to be rude here. The guy is just asking for help. And since they're bootstrapping I doubt they have any venture pitches. |

How informal is too informal for a startup job posting I've never seen compensation figures mentioned in job ads. Never seen exact technology stacks either. |

What is the best material to hand out at a conference/networking event besides your business card? Many companies offer this; just Google around. I ordered mine at www.mybrick.be |

How to set your price in USD and EUR? There is no such thing as "the same amount". Currencies fluctuate faster than companies can adapt prices. If you really calculate all prices, you'll notice that most prices differ by more than 10% once you go to a different country. Some are higher, some are lower. |

What is the easiest way to charge credit cards? Won't work for me. The PayPal Virtual Terminal is only available for companies in the United States. Would be great if they did allow European (and other) companies use this, though... |

What is the easiest way to charge credit cards? Thanks, I'll investigate that. First thing I notice is that they only accept US issued credit cards. They also want me to link to a US bank account. Since we're based in Europe, this might not be the right thing for me. |

Old question again: how does one valuate the startup for VC purposes? Valuation calculations for start-ups will give you very little information. Fiddling with the numbers will easily give you a 10x difference. I agree that you need to have a figure in mind before you start negotiating. That figure is not so much based on any computation, but rather on what the market will offer and what the entrepreneur will accept. |

Should I give a discount when people pay with credit card @tbaums You say "for physical goods". Is this also common for software licenses? I don't want to complicate pricing unnecessarily. |
