Require Credit Card for Trial Sign-up I'm interested to test this 'in the wild'. I might go for a moderate approach at first where payment details are optional, they get a 30 day free trial if they enter payment details.. but only a 10 day trial if they do not. Does that seem fair? Maybe that will capture both types of my potential users? |

Require Credit Card for Trial Sign-up Interesting! I do really understand your sentiment. I'm not sure there is any way to figure out if you are like my customers unless I try this.. I agree that it might turn people off, but it might turn the RIGHT people off if that makes any sense. And of course we'll be on the up and up on when billing starts and etc. |
