Using Paypal for Gifting Why not something like Kickstarter? This seems sketchy at best, I have no idea about the legalities and tax implications. Why would people just send your company money? |

What to do when a finishing shop ruins 10% of our parts? @littleadv assuming that the compensation you receive will be more than the legal costs of filing the law suit and going to court. $25 * 19 = $475. That's like an hour or two talking to a lawyer. |

While H1B can I work on my interested Idea as Startup with no intention of earning? Where does the line between hobby and (self-)employment lie? If there are no attempts at earning money from it and no company/legel entity established, wouldn't it just be a hobby that has to potential to become profitable in some unspecified future? Don't most hobbies have that potential? |

Is SaaS really a profitable market now (compared to 2005)? OP's numbers are arbitrary but at least within a reasonable ballpark, and if anything 10% conversion rate might be a bit high unless you really know your audience and target them well. 50% conversion rate is completely unreasonable except for maybe very specialized circumstances. $200 USD/month is something even most businesses would balk at unless what you're providing is ridiculously valuable and difficult for competitors to imitate. I think SaaS is a fine business model as well, but throwing out ridiculous numbers doesn't really help the point |

Why would someone write captchas all day? From the site: "Depending on your software, if your CAPTCHAs come up every few minutes, you spend a lot of time waiting." When would you ever get a CAPTCHA every few minutes? I can't even imagine such a scenario existing, but I'd like to hear about them. |

Why would someone write captchas all day? I don't doubt that there are legitimate uses but I don't see any that you've mentioned. Creating accounts for what? I don't see when you'd need to create so many accounts in a short amount of time that it'd be faster to find someone to do a captcha for you than to just fill out the forms yourself. |

How much does physical appearance matter for becoming a successful entrepreneur? Paradox isn't the correct term because there's nothing self-contradicting about the statement but I know what you mean so +1 |

What's the best book you read about how to chat with a stranger? +1 Carnegie's book actually was what made me stop just reading and start doing. |

Is it a real pain? Should I spend a couple of month of my time on it? Well it's a good way to get your number blocked. That sound seriously annoying to be on the receiving end of. |
