Got a question for Seth Godin? +1 for personal brand vs company brand. Seems like doing both would be ideal, but more time consuming. So which is more important? |

Would You use fairsoftware.com to find contributers? I think the vesting is the best part. However, I had hard time figuring out how payment processing work and how expenses work. I'm sure its on the website, but I didn't see it. |

How To Outsource Market Research? They seem at the higher end of the price range for VAs - is that why you think they wouldn't have a problem with research? Are they more skilled? |

What Game helped you hone your Entrepreneurial Skills Good Point, actually successful underdogs often find ways to bend or break the rules. This is harder to do in games where the rules are less likely to be implied and more likely to be enforced and therefore hard to sidestep |

Would You use fairsoftware.com to find contributers? Thanks for the detailed response. Sharing costs is a big one to me, and I'm not sure how they handle that. |

Know any SaaS Start up / ISV Ratios? so following from the 70% rule you mentioned, no more than 70% of profits should be re-invested in getting new deals and the rest should be re-invested in product development? |

How do I turn a word doc into a polished looking guide / ebook? Good link. It seems what I may want is to find someone with QuarkXpress or Adode InDesign experience to kick out a polished looking version for me. It doesn't seem like it would be worth my time to figure them out myself. |

Do you have any database front-end application recommendation? Thanks James - I agree, of course. Maybe my answer is too short. |

How should I start an effective viral marketing campaign? Agreed - social media marketing is a great idea. Its just not necessarily viral marketing. Maybe if the blog write up triggered another blog write up and so on - that would be viral. Viral means that it is self-replicating. |

B-to-B landing pages and conversions Thanks for answering. Isn't the issue of a trial and the issue of multipage vs 1 page two different things. Startuptodo for instance uses a single page lander to push a free trial for a web app, where as basecamp uses a multipage site. |

B-to-B landing pages and conversions Testing is, of course, the perfect answer, but building 2 versions of a landing page/ site has a cost associated with it as does sending enough users through to test those pages. I gotten some feedback that the single page lander can be seen in a negative light, due to all those get rich quick style offers. That was the main reason I was looking at multi-page. |
