How do you pickup blog title/posts? I think the most important thing is to be yourself, not what you think you should be or who others want. |

How to protect my idea? There is no way you are going to sell this by emailing people. You need to develop relationships with key people before you approach them with your idea |

Startup capital and taxes You don't state what jurisdiction you are in therefore it is hard for the international audience here to answer your question accurately. You really need to speak to your accountant about this. |

Do investors in the US invest in international companies? Sorry, I probably didn't put that the most tactful way possible. If this has been your experience, then that would have been difficult and I am sorry you had to experience it. I don't think it is the experience of the majority of people though and I wouldn't want a newbie to take one person's experience as a hard and fast rule of what to do when they may have a very different experience in the same situation. |

From where employees get their salary? Why would you give an investor the controlling interest? |

How do I pursue funding for a vertical product? Definitely look for an investor that has experience in your sector/industry. It's too hard a sell otherwise. Most investors only invest in sectors they know anyway. |

New business. How *exactly* does one raise VC capital, or any other startup capital? Do a search on the site. There is heaps of stuff here to answer your question already. Once you've read it, you will have no problems narrowing down your particular question. Honestly you could (and people have) written books on this. Good luck! |

What happens when one partner leaves the business She already doesn't have control of the business. Can you try and you back some shares so she has majority control? Tricky with family though. This could be a mess waiting to happen. |

I have a great idea for a web site. I created a prototype. Now what? Ok. Thanks Zuly. I'll take a look. I'm away for a week but I'll have a look after that. |

I have a great idea for a web site. I created a prototype. Now what? Market research should happen BEFORE coding the website. Or else, you may build something that no one wants or that needs extensive changes |

Where to advertise for such a very targeted market? Get those first few sales, prove your market and then, if you are confident you have a go-er, get some credit cards if you need to. You best (and cheapest) bet is to talk to people in person though. |

Is this an ethical use of other peoples' content? I would find several examples for yourself Tim. It sounds like if you had a problem with this, it would be a major risk to your business model so you want to mitigate it as much as you can. |
