Get those first few sales, prove your market and then, if you are confident you have a go-er, get some credit cards if you need to. You best (and cheapest) bet is to talk to people in person though.

If you are really an entrepreneur, you will find a way to get in front of potential customers and test your idea before you waste time and money building it. That doesn't mean that you can't have a prototype to show. Your customers are unlikely to steal your idea - they are building their own businesses.

Totally disagree. You should have tons of input from your potential customers and ideally also pre-sales before you build a market ready product. Otherwise you could be building something no one wants
