Where to find SR developers to join your start up? Jason, I was looking for a job 5 months ago and believe me is NOT easy. The market is very calm and salaries very low.. It took me 3 months to get a good offer, when 2 years I got a job in 2 weeks time.. |

Online payment processor for items over $1000 Kendall, thanks for the inside information. For your experience, businesses looking on paying with a PO or a CC more often? I'm referring to a $1-$3K sale. What's FastSpring's cut on such sale? |

Online payment processor for items over $1000 I didn't know that rates get so high (9-15%). You refer to personal or business credit rating? My personal is great but I just started my business. |

Online payment processor for items over $1000 Gary, is merchant accounts the only good solution I have? As I explained in the above comment is not in my plans right now for the issues you described. What I'm looking for is for the best low % rate processor for now until I have an office infrastructure. |

Online payment processor for items over $1000 About average volume: I'm starting now so it will be low, but I hope not for long. Authorize.net is a gateway and I need a merchant account, which is not in my plans for now. |

Referring to one-man-company: use “we” or “I”? Guys, you should stop calling Balsamiq a small company or even worse MicroISV, because they are not anymore. And don't forget that everybody will trust a company if the price tag is $79. Try to make that $1000 and if they know you are a one-man-show they may think this over. |

Changing my name for business Funny Bob.. I was just dreaming of seeing my post on 47Hats.com.. 8-) Back to the name, this is exactly what I'm afraid. I may have to sign a contract with a company and when they'll see a different name they will react strangely. Do you thing something like Tim Kara (aka Timoleon Karaxtzidakis) will work? |
