What do you think about company names that end with Land? Finland would have been great, but it seems to be taken already... |

Who to get as programmer? @Alex At the same time, it is fairly easy to put together a shortlist of freelance programmers in your area that have high ratings on vWorker (not sure about oDesk and other sites.) |

Who to get as programmer? @dnbrv Your comment is geographically biased, just like the answer. There is no such thing as a global market rate. I'd happily accept a $60/hour offer, if I was a contract programmer. |

what methods exist to securely have clients send you their files and other important documents? Unfortunately, Dropbox & Co. do not work that way, as I just found out. You cannot enable your clients send you files without them getting paid accounts, if the files are big (several gigabytes in our case.) |

How do I decide on licensing terms for my popular app? What you are saying, Dror, does not nullify my statement that a media company could do it itself. You are just showing that their cost would be high. That is why I said "at a very good rate". And that is also why a media company won't be willing to pay a recurring fee. |

I want an effective solution to prevent piracy and manage licensing of my java desktop application excelsior-usa.com/articles/java-obfuscators.html My article about Java code protection</a> considers four ways to make your Java code less vulnerable. One of those also acts as a copy protection mechanism that would be very expensive to circumvent. |
