There have been a total of 220 Million iPods sold to date (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPod#Sales), while just for fiscal Q1 2010, 80.9 million Windows PCs were sold. (betanews.com/joewilcox/article/…) After finding these numbers, I'm amazed at how hard Microsoft makes it to get solid numbers on PCs/Windows licenses sold. |

Can mistakes be made because you are too close to your own product? This is a great perspective that I didn't even think about. When the time comes that I have a prototype for my product, I'll confer with some colleagues and create a "board of directors" who I trust (and maybe even fear a little) so that I take the proper care with my product launch. |
