What's more important: releasing early or getting it right? As a developer, this is sound advice, but over-engineering software no one wants to buy is the best way to lose money. At some point the business side has to prevail. Refactoring later may cost more, but lack cash-flow can kill a business. |

How to identify the problems to solve in an industry you know nothing about I think the marketing point is key. They will be more than happy to discuss functionality for your application, but you'll need greater insight to get them to pay for it. |

Next Step for My Product / Business? Minimum Viable Product The phone call is a great idea. @DogOn - if you let customers talk about their needs and hopefully your application, you'll feel more comfortable. Don't think of it as you're making a sale. |
