Can a non-developer/non-technical manage developers? Maybe for an inexperienced manager, but after a project or two, you get a pretty-good idea of how long things take. You lose all trust and credibility and you'll get micromanaged to the point where you either leave or start getting things done. |

How do I validate an idea for a service with infrequent, time-sensitive users using the 'coming soon' page method? Is this seasonal like during the holidays or people only visit for a birthday or anniversary? Are you testing when they're likely to buy? |

Will Your Employeer Find Out if You Incorporate? (United States) Check with your HR department regarding outside ventures. Your company may be publicly traded or if you're in the financial industry, the SEC may have something to say about it. They may not be able to find you, but you could be obligated to notify them based on the terms of your hiring contract. |

Charging annually based on number of users. How to grant flexibility on the number of users? I don't think it's worth the trouble. Will customers complain if a user logs on for 5 minutes and loses a full month's credit? Can they hold on to their credits for the next 3 years as your rates increase or will they expire? |
