Is John Jonas (of ReplaceMyself.com, outsourcing “guru”) legit or just a smarmy marketing guy? If you're having some doubts about this guy, why don't you check out his blog (Jonasblog.com). It may help. |

Can I use pictures from shopping sites on my blog? I really like it that you covered all the possible angles with this answer. |

Cutting corners: what costs to cut or postpone I agree. You should spend most of your time and resources making money. If doing your own accounting takes too much time, outsource it. |

How important is it to have a physical office? Your answer got me thinking and I think our clients may have issues about our credibility. My partner and staff are quite young, (under 30) and they don't look professional when I take them to consult with my clients (purple hair, piercings, tattoos). Do you think that could be the issue? |

Should I hire relatives in my startup? No, I'm not Indian. But I actually know some Indians who are going through the same problem. I don't think it has anything to do with culture. Family relationships are by nature completely different from business relationships. With family, you give and forgive as much as you could. With business, there's only so much you can give and forgive. With family, you do take advantage of the fact that you have a personal relationship with that person. And when that spills over to business, it's just chaos. |

Should I hire relatives in my startup? Wow. I'm really sorry about that Mark. I got a lot of great advice here and to be quite honest, the pressure is still there. The temporary solution we have for now is to actively look for people outside of the family to fill our staffing problems. |

Is it unprofessional to brand your self using your surname and jr (junior)? I was thinking using the jr in his surname to add personality to his site. Like if his website wasn't that formal, he could make a play on the junior. I know it's a little vague. I just got this idea from a guy who is also a junior and had a website that catered to kids. So he was able to play on his name being someone's junior. |
