I am a software developer working for Pinnacle of Indiana. I mainly focus on .NET projects. I work with C#, ASP.NET MVC 4, Javascript, and SQL Server, and I play with MongoDB and Node.js when I get the chance.

comment Typical margin for reseller of a software product
As someone who currently works for a reseller, this is right on the mark.

comment Non .Com Domains - Does it Really Affect Branding?
+1 - Agreed. I'm sure it's more a geek thing, but I type the main part of the domain name and just hit Ctrl+Enter to make the browser fill in the www & .com for me. I know there are other shortcut keys to get .net and .org, but I never user them. .com is still the standard in the user's eyes.

Thanks for the feedback. The products I'm working with are purely software, so there isn't a warranty like the iPhone scenario. Since I'm planning on just add on tools, the customer would be required to already own the and license the software that I'm looking to work with. I would not be embedding or distributing any part of the core product, just my own software.
