As an app developer, should I have an NDA? No. Most people think that NDAs are a waste of time and many assume the person requesting them is a rookie and/or unprofessional. - How's that? If I have a product that I demo to someone or let them use in Alpha or Beta stages before I bring it to market I will ask for an NDA since I don't want features and limitations of that product disclosed ahead of my releasing it. The generalization you make is simply wrong. |

How to find a programmer to partner with and bring programming in-house? A non-technical person can't judge a good programmer from a bad one just based on the key questions related to their skill. You don't even have to ask question about skills of a programmer but just about their last project and their role in it. In order to determine the skill level you need someone already at some skill level in the field. |

Dealing with Free and Lite Version of Competitors And just as an example consider that employees of your competitor might be your customers too. What do you think they would have to say about your service? |

Dealing with Free and Lite Version of Competitors we know to look from the perspective of all types of users - I don't doubt it the only problem is psychologically you still don't no matter how much you try. This is why real surveys and studies use large pools of people to provide a more objective perspective. Besides you might want to clarify your question since as it stands it's not a very good fit for the Q&A form of this forum. See FAQ |

How to get initial users (critical mass) for the product location search site? @justicepenny The Google 80-20 work time rule. 80% you do work for Google 20% you work on your own ideas. |

Dealing with Free and Lite Version of Competitors As a statistical measure you have a problem: 1. You personally have bias. 2. The number of customers you have is not significant enough yet to compare to others. And without getting into specifics of what your product is Have you tried offering a Lite version of your product? |
