IBTimes.com advertising should I do or not? IBTimes.com are 693 US ranking. On Alexa I see yours ranked at 117,320 in US. That's still pretty good ranking you have. I would love to pick your brain on SEO and all that since your site is doing well considering. I have a new CMS cloud service (REST interface with HTML5 front end) and would love some advice since I'm in a crowded space with a new technology approach to the old term "CMS" that gets lost in the crowd. |

IBTimes.com advertising should I do or not? @SteveJones Yeah exactly. The only reason I mentioned is because they rank high in Alexa. But as I'm going along I'm seeing this practice. For example, in nopCommerce there is "parter" links that have nothing to do with ability. These are all paid placements. |

IBTimes.com advertising should I do or not? Its an article placement of the top 3 ecommerce development shops of 2012. It would be there archived permanently. Alexa ranks them pretty high if you check but wasn't sure. |

Do I need to offer a free version to sell my SaaS? @JoelFriedlaender I would say my line is very strong if you check my history on stack overflow. I've answered tons of tech questions. I don't promote my business but going here specifically is about my business and I can do whatever I want on my profile. |

Webhosting solutions for a startup Why so cheap? You get what you pay for. If you really want to go cheap, use Volusion or Big Commerce as you don't have to pay for development time or lost development time which Magento is. |

Do I need to offer a free version to sell my SaaS? I was looking into killing the reign of Aloha Editor as I can do stuff that makes that look a bit primitive. That could be what you are meaning, however its not a trivial endeavor. |

Do I need to offer a free version to sell my SaaS? Ok, I think I needed to hear that from someone. I really agree with you when I'm on other sites its just a pain in the ass to program both scenarios as I already baked in the paid version. I will program that in... sigh. |

Suggestions to get my content management product noticed? I'm kind of going a different route in terms of forums. I'm actually putting up useful info on stackoverlow.com and have my profile list out accomplishments. I have been getting traffic that way as legit curiosity rather than direct self promotion. It seems to be working as my rep is going up really fast and I'm in the top 1% for the week. :) |

Suggestions to get my content management product noticed? Right. That makes sense. The part I need to figure out is how to convey the marketing message so its easy to see the benefits quickly. I'm not sure if I'm doing that effectively because people say KitGUI is better than the website lets on so not sure how to interpret that. |
