Profit Share with Customers I was a member of The Coop 30+ years ago. They always asked you your Coop number. So for 4 years I recited that many many times. Fast Forward to now. The Coop had a techie bookstore near to where I used to work. I buy a book. The clerk asks me my number. Without even thinking about it, I rattle it off again! Repetition builds memory for sure! Thanks for the trip down memory lane. |

What is a reasonable amount to ask to investors? So true! I saw one, once, and they offered they guy $600k for his product. He hesitated, tried to get more, so they offered him $400k, which he took. Idiot. Clearly there first offer wasn't the best possible one and they essentially established a LOW price for it. Oh well... You won't find me on any of those shows! |

Overwhelmed by Technical Supports Love all the answer but just wanted to add a comment. "Congratulations!" Really, that wasn't snarky. It is a good problem to have. |

Can I have different co founders on different parts of the company? Just a bit of friendly advice, you've asked 17 questions and all but this one have answers. Yet you've only accepted 6 of those answers, 38%. You'll get better responses if you start accepting the best answer on those questions. |

What is a legal entity, specifically in Apple's terms? Government papers, that makes sense. Good to know a DBA is good enough. LLC/C-Corp is not cheap in some states! |

Filing US income taxes for income from working from home for Bahamas-based company and it is really easy for them to issue you a 1099. Just go to Staples, but some, mail them to them. They'll send a filled out one to you and one to the IRS and one to NY. Employee is a little harder, never done that. |

Advertise a freelance/one-person graphic design business? add, this person makes you take a test. A test that something like 98% of the applicants fail. So the chance of a dud is pretty low. So you only need to sell yourself once to the agency. |

What is a legal entity, specifically in Apple's terms? Apple charges the same for a business and a personal account, $99/year. (Enterprise account is different, but that's not what he is talking about here.) |

LLC vs Corp - anonymonity of equity partners? This question is part of the pre-lawyer research. When you are talking at $300/hour it pays to do your homework first. |

LLC with vesting shares possible? But of course! This could take months though, not a priority for me, just in the thinking and wondering stage. That's the wondering how to pay for it stage! |

VC not needed? What am I missing from these costs? use Amazon Web Services instead of a dedicated server, you're already using CDN, so why not? |

Buying a low-budget server. What is important ? High traffic? iPhone apps are super easy to localize. And there are fairly cheap services to do it. But for mine, just with friends, I have French, Spanish, German and Mandarin covered. |

When a client chooses a lesser subscription in a web app The difference between the paid to free subscription is usually that some content is now restricted. Your situation is different since the AMOUNT of content is restricted, and that amount isn't just a number, it is actual people. That decision should be left to the customer, not your coders. |
