Software systems that need certification or approval Yes, an accounting and inventory system, that's right. But besides GAAP, depending on the specific industry there are legal binding related to the use you give the inventory system. I.e.: it is not the same for livestock than pharma. |

I have a project from client, shall I open a startup or play a mid man and make a cut It is definitively not a clear cut option 2. It is difficult to hide because the customer will notice lack of attention. It is ethical to know before hand that you are going to subcontract so you focus on management as added value. It is not ethical to say you will program it if you know you won't. The position your are offer is to be responsible for the delivery, not for the implementation |
