Getting a New Hire to Work More the cultural pressure of working more than 40 hours in a startup really annoys me. In a startup it should be all about delivering results and exceeding expectations where possible. Don't let the glorification of employees that work 60 become a cultural norm in your organization. Before you know it, exceeding expectations will mean working weekends and late into the night on a regular basis. Like anything it's important to have balance. |
