Can I use the logos of other companies on my site? "most people just do it and see what happens" sounds like a great article I once read called "@#$%ing sue me". |

Ideal office space layout - open or offices? Open layouts for those who can't be trusted. Closed layouts for those who can. |

Ideal office space layout - open or offices? +1 for the 2nd bolded item. 3 sales ppl and their intermittent bantering is a great way to mess up concentration. |

Domain names with a hyphen, good or bad idea? People are just going to either use history autocomplete, google through to it, or bookmark it. |

MBA - Education Vs. Networking If you can get a scholarship, go for it and take a light schedule. While you're there, develop a startup with the other geniuses around you. If it takes off, drop out and go full-time startup mode. If it doesn't, hey you just got a damn good degree and a learning experience. |

Smaller Project for Free Open Source as Leverage Yes, all of my coding at work is proprietary. I was also thinking of consulting as a possibility in the future. Unfortunately, there is no opportunity for the project to scale nor offer a hosting. |

Smaller Project for Free Open Source as Leverage Joel, thank you for the response. I'm also thinking about point-of-views from possible future employer, company that may want to buy licensing to update/edit, etc. For instance, on stack overflow careers, many companies note: "open source projects a +". However, although I am humble, I definitely don't feel that I underestimate my abilities. I also do agree and thank you again for your insight, particularly, "Just make a good product ...[and let it] speak for itself". |

When/How Often Do Startups Join Together? I don't think tig was looking for a number. "When/How do Startups Join Together" might have been a more appropriate question..? |
