comment How does one create a startup without any seed funds and developers/coders?
Sure. But, giving up is worse. My point is: start working. If you can't code, learn now. If you can find a cofounder, get a cofounder. If you can't, try Elance or ODesk. I have met far too many dreamers and not enough doers. To counter your point, Kevin Rose of digg.com used eLance to get started. :)

Robots.txt. Isn't that also affect my search ranks in Google?

"We don't have any patent or proprietary IP to raise the entrance barrier". My point is, don't worry about patent if you don't have one. Most likely, it won't help you as startups.

comment Is having a working prototype required for getting seed funding(first round)?
It begins from a book called 'Customer Development' by Steve Blank. amazon.com/Four-Steps-Epiphany-Steven-Blank/dp/… To learn more about Lean Startup, google these few names: Eric Ries, Steve Blank, Sean Ellis and to certain extent, Andrew Chen

comment What's the best way to create company core values?
Is "Keep it Simple" help you (or anyone in the organizations) in making decision? Give you famous examples: Southwest. Their core value is 'We are THE low-fare airline'. So, in making decision. Should we serve peanuts or chicken-caesar salad? Easy. Peanuts. Because, serving salad will stir them away from 'THE' low-fare airline. Check out this book. It's worth reading: Made to Stick (Chip Heath & Dan Heath), Southwest example is page 28. HTH

comment Learning from mistakes
'Getting Real' is great. Except, there's a huge gap between reading a book and truly understand it.
