what's a fair amount to charge to build and maintain a web site for a small clothing boutique? Thanks for the feedback. I had not thought of using something like Wordpress -- I think of that more for blogs, would Wordpress be appropriate for a simple 2 or 3 page "brochure" web site? |

where to find a “dead” software product to acquire? > too high a salvage value to their abandoned products -- i've experienced that. A few years back there was an abandoned piece of shareware I liked, was $50 a copy and he killed it because it didn't sell. I offered him $500 up front for ownership of the code, plus $20 per unit sold as long as there was still a line of his code in the deliverable. He didn't take it because he seemed to think I'd be ripping him off somehow. Meanwhile, his web site vanished and I doubt he ever sold another copy. |

What is the easiest way to get a small business website online? Thanks for the suggestion, I think I'm imagining something easier than that again. Like, I want to set up a company web site at "www.mycompany.com" and do it as easy as setting up a facebook page: edit the title, upload some photos, boom! online. Does such a beast exist? |
