Gross profit royalties vs non-voting equity Yes I get independent auditing (twice yearly). We manufacture hardware, hence why its gross profit. If we sell the widget for $500 and it costs us $250 to make in the factory, they only pay me % of the $250 gross profit. The arrangement is explicitly minus their labour costs. |
