UX stands for user experience. Strict definition of UX as per ISO 9241-210 is "a person's perceptions and responses that result from the use or anticipated use of a product, system or service". UX covers areas such as usability, performance and accessibility, and also more subjective emotional aspects such as simply how a person feels about a website or piece of software.
