Answers OnStartups is a question and answer site for entrepreneurs looking to start or run a new business. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am looking for a site similar to mturk.com (Amazon Mechanical Turk) or the old Google Answers where one defines a task that I need someone to complete and I define a payment for completing the task. I know lots of sites where there is a bidding process, but that takes too long. Maybe this would be an idea for a Startup. It is important that there is a rating system to rate both workers and employers (acceptance rate).

I have also come across www.shorttask.com. It is missing a rating feature, so I sometimes get garbage results from their workers.

http://www.cloudcrowd.com/ and https://crowdflower.com/ are similar. Crowdflower uses mturk.com but does some quality filtering & offers some bpo / consulting.

BTW - the closest resurrection of google answers can be found @ http://uclue.com - they have ratings on the answers. How would you rate the questions?

Thanks for your answer! I would not rate the questions, just the employers. Basically the workers would want to know what the probability of getting paid for an answer is. This means that if an employer does not know how to ask quesstion in a way that is clear enough, the workers should be able to see that a lot of his projects end without payment, even though answers were provided. – David Feb 27 '10 at 8:33
