I need to take subscription fees for my social network.

I'm a US Citizen, my S-Corp is incorporated in Delaware, I am operating out of New York and have a valid US mailing address in New York--but I live internationally, so I need to know what is the best on-line bank to set up for my S-Corp.

I wanted to bank out of my Credit Union, but it doesn't appear they have services for businesses.

ING Direct is an amazing online bank.

They have a business savings account, CD account, and investment account. But they don't offer business checking, unfortunately.

Their user interface/experience is the best. And they try to make you do everything online (which in your case is desirable).

HSBC Direct is another great online bank.

They have a business online checking account:

  • No monthly maintenance fees
  • No minimum balance requirements
  • Unlimited monthly transactions at HSBC ATMs
  • No HSBC fees when using non-HSBC ATMs
  • 10 free wire transfers per month (5 incoming, 5 outgoing)
  • Business Internet Banking with free online Bill Pay
  • Dedicated business customer service line
  • Ability to deposit checks without leaving your office with Remote Deposit Capture
  • Special discounts on products and services like Merchant Services
  • MasterCard BusinessCard® Card with 0% intro APR

Their user interface/experience is old school. It reaks of the late 90's. For example, they use mail and phone in places that are unncessary nowadays. They mail you your initial password, and require you to activate your debit card by calling them. (ING Direct does the whole onboarding process online). And they require money transfers between accounts to take one business day. ING Direct (and every other bank I've used) do this instantly. And their email support people reply with corporate/robotic answers.

Despite HSBC's shortcomings, it does offer the full business banking solution online. And their rates are the best.

Note:
My experience with both banks is from personal accounts. Perhaps the business offerings of both is better automated and serviced.

ING Direct requires that you have an existing business checking account to open an account with them. They don't offer checking. – Joseph Turian Jun 29 '10 at 20:24

Why does it have to be an internet bank? Most US banks offer on line banking. You can do virtually anything with on line banking that you can do with an internet bank. This opens up a much wider range of choices.
