Stripe is an example of payment processor without a merchant account but it only available in US/Canada currently.

Welcome to the site! Unfortunately, polling the community for service recommendations is not allowed on the Stack Exchange network. – Zuly Gonzalez Feb 4 at 5:29
I beg to differ. The OP wasn't asking for a recommendation. He was asking for a list of companies that process payments without the requirement of a merchant account. – royal1122 Feb 4 at 6:07
Likewise I don't think this question is polling the community for service recommendations, it is asking if their are payment processors in Australia that don't require merchant accounts. This is a valid question all be it could be rephrased to "Are there payment providers" – Tim Nash Feb 4 at 7:40
Sorry guys, but I don't understand why you don't see that asking for a list of products is no different than asking for a list of services. Whether it's a call for a list of products, services or resources, the end result is the same - a "not constructive" question polling the community for driveby answers. These type of questions are not allowed on SE for many reasons. This has been discussed at length on meta.so. – Zuly Gonzalez Feb 4 at 17:37
He is not asking for a specific service, he is asking if such a service exists its a very different question as you say its been discussed on meta several times the key here is not to recommend a service but to answer the question (the answer may be backed with one or more service, without need to recommend one). The reasons why you need merchant accounts and protection they bring along with options for those unable to get a merchant account are valid. The original question was slightly nieve in its wording but valid IMO. – Tim Nash Feb 4 at 19:54
