I have an idea for a specialized SaaS that bundles a commercial ecommerce product + hosting + custom plugins. I would first require that the purchase a license from the commercial product at which point they would plug it in to the SaaS which provide them hosting and custom functionality for it.

Since what I am essentially offering is hosting + custom plugins to an existing commercial product, could they ever prevent this SaaS from existing? I ask because they are OK with it right now but if the SaaS starts to become more profitable than the original commercial software I could see them trying to put an end to it. However since they purchase a license from the source of the commercial product, they would be able to do anything with that including self-hosting or hiring someone to host it for them.
