I'm playing around with the idea of starting a Lead Generation Startup. I think there are some really experienced marketers who I don't want to compete with (like Experian, AppSumo, etc.), but at the same time I'm intrigued by selling leads to established companies. I especially like the AppSumo business model, where geographic restrictions don't even come into play since they are selling leads for online products.
I wanted to ask those who have experience with lead generation, how did you choose your niche? And do you think there are still some niches that are ripe for disruption?
