I am currently starting a website that promotes the collaboration of artists programmers and musicians to develop web and mobile games. Once these games are complete I would like to distribute them to other sites but I have no idea where to begin. All I need is a point in the right direction, I am not looking for technical advice.

there are several factors to consider. will the games be free? distribution of web-based games are generally simpler to distribute - copy the file(s) associated with the game to anywhere its accepted and include instructions and your (personal or groups) contact info. more complex web-based games rely on a beefier infrastructure so there may be multiple components that needs to be uploaded and accounted for. mobile app distribution can vary from uploading the source project to compiled app. but, mobile app distribution on a larger scale usually requires integration with platform stores – bangdang May 5 '12 at 4:09
thank you for the help. All the games we will be distributing will be free and we plan on reaching mobile phones through the use of html5 which can be played on a phone through the users browser. i am still a little fuzzy on what you meant when you said' "distribution of web-based games are generally simpler to distribute - copy the file(s) associated with the game to anywhere its accepted..." what exactly did you mean by "anywhere it is accepted?" – davey May 5 '12 at 19:51
