One of my contractors uses flairbuilder, and I'm interested if any of you have heard of it or other competitors to Balsamiq? There was a thread on wireframing tools from almost two years ago, and I started using Balsamiq pretty regularly then. I use Balsamiq and it works but there are a few things I've grown to dislike, so if anyone has used flairbuilder or any other wireframing tools they can suggest, the comments are appreciated.

We have been using Mockingbird. We find it easy to use for both the graphically-challenged (that would be me) and the designers who need to understand what I am after. |

What do dislike about Balsamiq? What features do you wish you had that you just can't find in Balsamiq? There are a ton of tools out there - I'm sure one will meet your need |

While not technically a "wireframing" tool, InVision (http://www.invisionapp.com/) is a prototyping tool aimed at designers. Its sweet spot is when you have a designer who mocks up the comps, and you want to "see them in action", as it were. You use InVision to wire em all up, and then you can share it with your team, clients, etc. |

We tried many wireframing/mockup/prototyping tools. We ended up with mockflow. Pros:
Cons:
Mockingbird was second on our list and I believe we would have also been happy with it. |

I am developing WireframeSketcher wireframing tool. It's not Air/Flash, cross-platform with native UI on Mac, Windows and Linux and is better suited for larger projects. If you are looking for a solid desktop tool then take a look at it. |

"When it comes to wireframe the first comer has a huge advantage and all the fans create a huge wall for the late comers. I wonder how long the fans are going to resist MockupTiger? Once you use it you will fall in love!" |
