Based on the information from the USPS, I only need to fill out the form and show up with two forms of ID. I've looked at the form and it doesn't seem like I need anything about the business incorporation to get a P.O. box, but I wasn't sure. I'm in the processing of incorporation (going LLC), so I don't have my articles of incorporation yet, but I would like to get the P.O. box soon.

As other stated you do not have to wait till you complete the formation process. @Bob: great idea about Apt>Suite sound way more busines like. Also, depending on your business type you might want to reconsider using PO Box for the stated above resons: 1. You will not check it all the time 2. Your important mail may be damaged. |

Another thing to consider is doing something other than a USPS PO Box. UPS and others provide mail boxes that you can put down as a Suite number. I just did this for an LLC and they did not require any documents that said the name of the LLC on it. |
