What's this business model called in which links are provided to online sellers of a particular thing like Google books provides links to amazon,etc. ?

PS: If possible please also add link(s) where I can read more about this biz model.

It's an advertising model; specifically contextual/targeted advertising in the Google Books example you mentioned.

With links to Amazon and other sellers, it is worth mentioning that Google or anyone else doing the same is taking advantage of affiliate marketing (Likely with revenue sharing--also known as 'cost per sale').
