I use paycycle. It's pretty simple. – Sean May 21 '11 at 17:01

I'll say up front that I am biased because we have a partner relationship with SurePayroll and offer discount small business payroll pricing through SurePayroll on our web site. But this is only because I think they are easily the best online payroll processing company out there.

We sell and support Virtual TimeClock software that integrates with a number of leading payroll companies. We have a lot of contact with payroll providers as well as regular discussions with our customers about their payroll needs. SurePayroll has really won us over with their outstanding customer service and competitive pricing.

Thanks Keith for your answer, I would like to know more about your discounts for small business owners. – McCants May 22 '11 at 14:17
Our partnership pricing through SurePayroll is described in the link above. It's a flat rate $69 per month for up to 10 employees for full service online payroll runs (some companies charge per payroll run). It also includes free W2s and 1099s at the end of the year. If pricing is a dominant factor and you have less than 5 employees, take a look at Intuit Online Payroll from the QuickBooks folks. They do a good job with payroll processing though I've found their support is at best mediocre. – Keith DeLong May 23 '11 at 16:04
