I am thinking building web application where buyers and sellers could meet and buy/sell items/service. (There wont be any item to sell butthey will pay for service )

But i dont know how to get commission like (http://www.freelancer.co.uk) but i am not sure about there will be bidding or not but the question is hot to get commision

Should i have my own account and get money buyer and send to seller when service is done?

Is there any detailed architecture / work flow / article etc. about this kind of process?

Does paypal or any other payment gateways support this kind of features?

You could use Paypal's adaptive payments. It will allow you to split payments between you and the seller. https://www.x.com/community/ppx/adaptive_payments

As far as i understand from paypal, buyer will send money to my account and whenever buyer confirms that he received item/service i will send money from my account to seller account it is what i need but some how I have to automatize this process. I have heard about Escrow service but it has 25$ service fee + 3.25% commissions, but items/services will cost 5$-25$ so it is not feasible for me, is there any other services such Escrow? – Seyn Apr 21 '11 at 20:42
What stops you from effectively being the escrow agent yourself? – Kenneth Vogt Apr 21 '11 at 21:32
Of course i can do myself but i just wanted to make sure if is there such a service already expertise and well known in this particular area and i have some concerns about reliability if i implement myself? and i really appreciate for your comments, thank you – Seyn Apr 21 '11 at 23:00
