Answers OnStartups is a question and answer site for entrepreneurs looking to start or run a new business. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I tried to ask this question here, but unfortunately I ask it in the wrong way that it attracts the wrong answers! So I want to reask:

Is there any example that one can succeed at both starting and sustaining a successful business and a successful relationship simultaneously? Or, is it worth trying it?

I have no experienced in this, but i am of the opinion, it would depend on the partner and you.

If they understand what you are doing and they support you and the idea, I think they can both work. But you also need to understand their needs and make time for them and the start up.

As an example, I would read Richard Bransons Autobiography. I think it will also give you some insight into business and relationships.
