What are some of the must go to events or seminars that someone who is looking to develop a startup company should attend.

Note: This question is location independent and goal is to find what resources, events or seminars are very helpful while starting on the StartUp Journey.

Background: Little background about myself, I am into software for 6yrs now mainly working as consultant for fortune 100 companies, spend initial years in valley and then moved to financial domain in NYC and now wanting to move back to startup companies and return to valley area.

Any suggestion or guidance would be highly appreciated.

I organize the Founder Conference once a year in Silicon Valley and Paris, with that exact purpose.

I recently attended the Business of Software conference for the first time, and would highly recommend it. It's a very intensive three days of talks. The speakers are awesome and the topics are all great. The best part for me was the networking opportunity. I met a lot of people from all over the world that I would have never met otherwise.

If they organize it again next year, I definitely recommend StartupBootcamp if you're in Boston. I personally get the most amped up from hearing other founders talk and thought this was a great event. Here is StartupBootcamp's YouTube channel in case you missed it this year.
